Case Study: How We Built Grill Bucket's Food Ordering Platform in 2 Weeks

Overview

Grill Bucket needed a complete online ordering system — a customer-facing website where people could browse the menu and place orders, plus an admin dashboard for the business to manage those orders and the menu itself — built and live fast. See the live result in our portfolio.

The Problem

The Solution

We scoped the project around two connected pieces:

• A customer-facing ordering website — menu browsing, cart, and checkout, designed to be fast and simple to use on mobile, since most food orders happen on a phone. It also includes a live deals engine for running promotions.

• A complete admin dashboard — for managing incoming orders in real time and maintaining the menu without needing a developer for every change.

Built on Next.js and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, with MongoDB for data and Cloudinary handling menu image delivery.

Key Learnings
