Case Study: How We Built Grill Bucket's Food Ordering Platform in 2 Weeks
How Loomadev built Grill Bucket's customer ordering website and admin dashboard from scratch in two weeks.

Overview
Grill Bucket needed a complete online ordering system — a customer-facing website where people could browse the menu and place orders, plus an admin dashboard for the business to manage those orders and the menu itself — built and live fast. See the live result in our portfolio.
The Problem
[ADD: describe the actual prior state before this project — e.g., no online ordering, phone-only orders, a manual process that was losing orders or capping how many customers they could serve, and the real business cost of that.]
The Solution
We scoped the project around two connected pieces:
A customer-facing ordering website — menu browsing, cart, and checkout, designed to be fast and simple to use on mobile, since most food orders happen on a phone. It also includes a live deals engine for running promotions.
A complete admin dashboard — for managing incoming orders in real time and maintaining the menu without needing a developer for every change.
Built on Next.js and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, with MongoDB for data and Cloudinary handling menu image delivery.
[ADD: 2–4 sentences on any other specific features that made this project distinct — e.g., order status updates, delivery zone logic, promo/deals mechanics beyond the basics above — whatever was actually built.]
The Results
Full customer website, live menu, deals engine, and complete admin dashboard — built and shipped in under 2 weeks, from kickoff to launch.
[ADD: a real, verifiable result — e.g., order volume in the first month, a client quote about impact, or a measurable operational improvement.]
Key Learnings
Speed didn't come from cutting corners — it came from disciplined scoping. We defined the one core workflow (a customer places an order, the business fulfills it) on day one and built everything else in service of that, which is the same framework we use on every MVP build (see our MVP web app development guide).
